Our Story

        I first got into all this because of a class or two I took in high school, and it wasn’t even screen printing. It was a class where I played with a little 24’’ plotter cutter when I was a senior. At the time my cross country and track coach did screen printing. I found a great interest when I began working for him. It was this experience that helped me gain the foundation needed for screen printing. He wanted to get out of screen printing to focus more on his teaching career and his family. Although he wanted out of screen printing, I wanted in because I thought he did well with it and I saw an opportunity to make extra money. It allowed me the opportunity to afford my college classes so we struck a deal. So when I was 19, practically fresh out of high school; that’s how Live Wire Printing was born. 

           What initially started as just a way to make some money on the side to pay for my college quickly turned into so much more. When I realized just how big the industry was and all you could do with printing! Coming from a family that runs a small business in the lumber industry, I have seen firsthand how frustrating it can be when print shops have missed deadlines, mistakes, poor prints, and miscommunication. Getting into the business myself, I also found other people who had those problems. I wanted to do something about that! So I got to work right away learning all I could about screen printing, heat transfers, digital printing, and vinyl installs. Filled my space with equipment and did orders as quickly as I could, leaving no detail unchecked. 6 years later here we are now.  

            Since those four years, we now offer large-format digital printing of vinyl, banners, billboards, mesh. As well as heat transfers and screen printing. As a business owner, there are many things to deal with, and you need a team to take some of those things off your plate so you can focus on your organization, and run your company well. Here at Live Wire, we are that team! You never get a second first impression and our crew takes that saying very seriously! All of us at Live Wire share the same core values of quick turnaround, quality work, and a commitment to serve you the customer. We understand that this is the image of your brand or your business. That this is your first impression, your livelihood, and your message to your customers. That is something that should be taken seriously.
